I have been involved with photography since a young age and I consider it a great passion of mine. I received my formal training at the Art Instituite of Pittsburg in 1986. I began my carreer as an apprentice of a photographer, who gave me a base for what I know today. I learned photography with film cameras, the change to digital was a welcomed one. I supervised and ran Old Time Photo at Darien Lake Amusement Park for two summers. Some of my greatest accomplishments can be attributed to being a natural at having an eye for the art of the moment. I have also attended many Photography work shops locally at the Genesee Center for the Arts and Education. I have been recognized nationally for my photography. I edit all my work with Photoshop CS, and The Gimp. I have an advanced knowledge of editing and editing software. My learning will never cease and I am always eager to try or learn something new.
My experience in imaging is not limited to photography. I also have a degree in Radiology with a strong emphisis in CAT Scan. I have been working in the medical imaging field for about 18 years. My career in Radiology has helped me by enabling me to fine tune my people skills. Alot of my clients say I have a certain way with people that makes them at ease during their stressful day. I use this talent daily whether it be in the hospital or at a wedding. I have taken weddings for alot of people with all different personalities. I have a way of molding myself to best suit the situation which thus enables me to gain the cooperation needed from the subjects for whom I am imaging. As the owner and operator of this buisness it is my goal to ensure that my clients are satisfied with their images and just as important the performance in getting those images. In addition to my photography company I supervise a busy medical department with twenty one people under me. I am a responsible individual with a desire to always excell at whatever I do.
Some of my other accomplishments would include video work for Thom Beers the producer for Discovery channels "The Deadliest Catch".
My goal in my photography is to "capture a moment and imortalize it forever on film".
